In 2011, Google hosted its first national science fair and, as it happened, a young woman took home the top prize in each age category (13-14, 15-16, and 17-18). Lauren Hodge, Shree Bose and Naomi Shah worked on projects related to carcinogenic chicken, ovarian cancer, and asthma respectively. In the TedxWomen video above, they explain their projects, their findings, and their path to scientific innovation. Well done, ladies!
